The team at Conservatory Village are delighted to have been named ‘Conservatory Designer of the Year 2020’. The award was given to us at the national Ultraframe Conservatory Design Awards, a ceremony recognising the very best in-home improvements around the U.K.

Designers from around the country enter showcasing their best work. The range of talented designers put forward a variety of conservatory projects for the judges to deliberate. Here at Conservatory Village, we are thrilled to have been named the best for 2020.

The project we have been recognised for is the work we did with one of our reliable suppliers, Maitlands. The collaboration was for Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood’s property. We opted for the Ultraframe system, market-leading in the home improvement industry.

Craig wanted a bespoke Portal Conservatory to extend the width of his house. A few companies turned down the project out of difficulty, but we were willing to take on the challenge.

With the design using aluminium bi-folding doors on the entire structure, we had our work cut out. However, with our manufacturers working closely with us on the project, we were able to create a structurally robust, beautiful Portal Conservatory.
